Scholarship Information
1. The Scholarship(s) will be presented annually by GFWC Woman’s Wednesday Club, Granbury.
2. The amount of the scholarship(s) will be determined yearly by the scholarship committee based on the following:
a. the amount budgeted in the general budget, and
b. by the interest received annually on the Lois G. Cleveland Memorial Scholarship Fund.
3. The applicant must be a female resident of Hood County.
4. The applicant(s) must indicate on the application which scholarship she is applying for.
Legacy
-
Be a full-time Junior or Senior at a four-year college or university with 60 or more credit hours OR
-
Be a full-time Sophomore at a four-year college or university with 30 or more credit hours
-
Have at least a 2.5 grade point average
New Horizons
-
Be a full or part-time student returning to college after a pause
Granbury
-
Be a full or part-time student at the Granbury campus of Weatherford College
Pathways
-
Be a High School Senior who will be a full time student at a four-year college or university
Master Class
-
Be a full or part-time student who has successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree and is now pursuing a Graduate degree
5. Applications will be provided by the scholarship committee.
6. Applicant(s) must complete all categories on the application that apply to her.
7. The applications for the scholarship must be submitted to the chairperson of the scholarship committee by the deadline set by the committee. The selection shall be made, and the recipient(s) notified prior to being announced to the club.
8. If a recipient wants to apply for the scholarship again the next year, she should submit to the chairperson an official transcript and a short letter of intent by the deadline set by the committee.
By submitting a Scholarship Application, scholarship winners consent to having their names, photographs, name of college, and college major published in the WWC Newsletter and published in conjunction with the WWC Style Show / Scholarship Fundraiser.

Kaylee is a Texas A&M University student in College Station, Texas. She is pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering.

Hannah Robinson
Hannah is pursuing a dual degree at Texas A&M of International Studies: International Politics &
Diplomacy with a minor in Spanish and a Master’s in International Affairs: National Security & Diplomacy
